Facilitation

Facilitation allows leaders and managers to be on the same page, to work towards the same goals, to prosper.

Proud to Prosper
with the best

Facilitation is the key to the future of work.
Fast Company
Transformations in which leaders were unified on the rationale and goals were 77% more likely to be successful than those in which leaders had less cohesion.
Boston Consulting Global Study 2021

Intro

For an organisation to prosper as a whole it is hugely beneficial that all staff are on the same page. It can be challenging to get agreement on what those goals of the team and/or organisation should be.

Leadership and management can struggle to know how to find and agree on that collective way forward. The role of an objective facilitator makes this process simple. It ensures a safe, structured and simple route to that point of collective agreement. We will provide that objective facilitation for you.

Testimonials

Lisa McGoldrick

Learning & Development Manager, Early Careers, William Fry

"What is great about working with John is he creates an open, safe space for people to share without putting pressure on, if people do not feel comfortable to do so. Having come from the corporate world himself and experiencing an early careers programme, John understands the challenges our people face and can relate to them."

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the whole facilitation process work?

It can happen over one full day or two half days. The two half days is recommended as it allows for the best energy possible to be brought to the process.

How do you ensure that everyone has a voice in the facilitation?

Everything in the process happens in smaller groups. It means that everyone can find a safe space to offer their thoughts - which are then shared with the wider group.

How important is follow-up for this work?

Again, it's crucial. It is recommended that the group reconvene after 100 days to assess progress and next steps. It helps to create accountability, focus and momentum.

What else is important in making this a worthwhile investment?

Meeting every member of the leadership/management team in advance of the two half days is a huge component of this being successful. It can take place virtually and only requires 20/25 minutes of their time. The purpose is for them to meet the facilitator in advance and to share what they hope to get out of the process.
